LG Uplus, Nokia validate 6G cloud tech

South Korea's LG Uplus Corp. announced on Friday that it has verified 6G cloud technology in collaboration with Nokia.

This technology enhances the survivability of virtual base station equipment.

In the 6G era, maintaining stable network operation is crucial.

To ensure this, LG Uplus has verified technology that automatically resolves issues such as base station hardware failures, inter-line problems, and software failures, providing stable service through an automatic remediation function.

Once this technology is commercialized, it will be possible to expand the capacity and performance of equipment using cloud technology when traffic increases.

It also enables automatic recovery from operational network failures.

In the event of a network failure, the necessary applications for recovery are automatically deployed, enhancing work efficiency and facilitating the maintenance of network quality.
