HD Hyundai Develon wins iF Design Award

South Korea's HD Hyundai Infracore Co. announced on Thursday that its construction machinery brand Develon received the grand prize in the branding category at the German iF Design Award 2024.

With this, Develon has won the design award for the second consecutive year, following last year's award-winning item, the 10-ton bulldozer (model name DD100) in the product category.

HD Hyundai Infracore explained that it received high scores in influence and differentiation categories, establishing the identity of the Develon brand, which was newly launched in Jan. last year.

The iF Design Award is recognized as one of the top three global design awards, Germany's Red Dot, and the US IDEA. This year, 11,000 entries from 72 countries competed for the award.

Develon also received the Minister's Award at the end of last year at the Korea Brand Awards hosted by the South Korean government.
