South Korea's electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co. will release its latest premium laptop model, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, on Jan. 16, the company said on Wednesday.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is equipped with essential components and technology from Qualcomm, including processors, graphic processing units, and Wi-Fi connection technology.
The laptop employs Qualcomm's latest processor, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform, which boosts system-level performance by up to 57% and multitasking performance by up to 85% versus the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2.
It is also equipped with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, which boasts up to 60% better performance than Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2, enabling improved graphics and faster premium computing performance.
Qualcomm's FastConnect 6900 system technology was also adopted to secure a fast and smooth connection to Wi-Fi 6E, a technology standard that expands the coverage of Wi-Fi 6.
The laptop, with a 33.7-cm touch screen is 11.5-mm thick and weighs 1.04 kg. The 360-degree hinge allows users to shift the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro to laptop or tablet mode, or in-between points. It features battery power that allows up to 35 hours of video playback on a single charge.
In addition, it has strengthened security features to meet Microsoft's enterprise security solution Secured-Core PC requirements.
