South Korea's property-rental platform Stayfolio announced on Wednesday that it has won 10 billion won ($7.7 million) worth of additional investment through a Series A round.

Quad Asset Management and the second investment association of TBT-IBX Next Unicorn, jointly operated by TBT Partners and IBX Partners, participated in the round.

Chairman Kim Bong-jin of Woowa Brothers Corp., a South Korean software developer of the food delivery mobile app, participated as a limited partner.

Stayfolio pioneered a new travel genre called Fine Stay and curated more than 430 Fine Stay properties around the world to deliver differentiated experiences to travelers.

It provides the service exclusively in Korea through a direct contract with Aman, a world-class high-end hotel brand.

Stayfolio plans to use the Series A proceeds to enhance its competitiveness and grow into a global Fine Stay brand.

Based on branch offices in Singapore and Japan, it intends to increase its market share and evolve into a space experience platform by adding more services and exclusive accommodations.
