South Korea's Aekyung Industrial Co. announced on Tuesday that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Silicon2, a global K-beauty distribution platform.
The MOU aims to refine the company’s approach to penetrating the US market through online and offline distribution channels.
Aekyung Industrial, leveraging its partnership with Silicon2, which boasts extensive distribution, sales, and logistics infrastructure in North America and other global markets, plans to launch its cosmetic brand, AGE20's, in the US.
Under the MOU, operations for AGE20's will commence on America’s largest online platform, Amazon, and the brand is set to be featured in Silicon2's first offline store in the US, MOIDA, opening in May.
The collaboration will bring six types of AGE20's Signature Essence Compacts with Intense Cover, three of which are specially formulated to suit the skin tones of American consumers.
The company plans to launch sun care products designed specifically for the US market in the second half of the year.
