South Korea's HD Hyundai Oilbank announced on Monday that it will continue to exclusively supply fuel for the "2024 O-NE Superrace Championship," South Korea's premier motorsport league, for the sixth consecutive year.
Racing vehicles participating in the championship require premium gasoline with an octane rating over 94 to prevent degradation in engine performance.
Kazen, the gasoline supplied by HD Hyundai Oilbank, boasts an octane rating of 100.
The 2024 season of the Superrace will feature a total of seven classes, with events running until November.
"Following the success of the premium gasoline Kazen and the super-premium gasoline Ultra Kazen, we plan to continue introducing high-performance products, such as Ultra Diesel, a diesel product enhanced with high-performance additives," said Park Ki-chul, the head of the PM Business Division at HD Hyundai Oilbank.
