South Korea’s HD Hyundai Oilbank said on Thursday that it launched a new dedicated electric vehicle (EV) lubricant brand the Hyundai XTeer EVF (Electric Vehicle Fluid).
The new brand has two products. The Top-Tier is compatible with all EVs, while the Mid-Tier is designed specifically for certain models including Tesla.
The company’s new products have been manufactured to meet the vehicle specifications of a wide range of EVs.
Unlike the existing lubricants, the Hyundai XTeer EVF is engineered for cooling and improving the efficiency of secondary batteries in EVs.
These lubricants are essential for rapidly cooling the electric motor and gears, as well as for insulating the vehicle to prevent unnecessary electricity flow, making them essential for optimal performance in all EVs.
Demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability, HD Hyundai Oilbank has incorporated eco-friendly base oils with specialized additives in the Hyundai XTeer EVF products.
