South Korean game developer DevSisters Corp. announced on Wednesday that it has signed a publishing agreement in India for the mobile game "Cookie Run" with Krafton Inc.
The two companies will collaborate to service the Cookie Run game throughout India and formulate a strategy for localizing content.
The operation and development of the Cookie Run service in India will be handled by DevSisters' subsidiary, Studio Kingdom.
Drawing on the success of the Indian version of "Battlegrounds Mobile," Krafton will take on the role of publisher to guide the successful local service of Cookie Run and expand the lineup.
Cookie Run has been a core title for DevSisters since its debut on the Kakao platform in 2013, surpassing 100 million downloads globally and leading the birth and early growth of intellectual property (IP).
