South Korea's major game developer and publisher NCSOFT Corp. announced on Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the domestic smart car platform company Obigo Inc. for the development of the development of personalized AI technology services for vehicles.
The AI technology provided by NCSOFT is expected to involve the self-learning of text, audio, images, and more. It will summarize them into key content and deliver them in a personalized manner to the driver.
NCSOFT plans to provide its proprietary "Varco Large Language Model (LLM)," the first LLM in the domestic game industry for the development of vehicle services.
Obigo will develop and OEM-produce AI vehicle services based on Varco LLM. Their first collaborative result Obigo Briefing Service is scheduled to be unveiled at CES 2024, the world’s biggest consumer technology trade show in January next year.
