NCSOFT included in DJSI Asia Pacific Index

South Korea’s major game developer and publisher NCSOFT Corp. announced on Thursday that it was listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index 2023 for the first time in the domestic game industry.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index, published annually by S&P Global, is a sustainability index that evaluates companies on economic performance as well as environmental, social, and governance aspects.

This index is used globally by investors to make responsible investment decisions.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index, which NCSOFT has now joined, represents the top 20% of companies in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management among 600 leading companies in the Asia and Pacific region.

NCSOFT was included in the DJSI Korea index last year.

The company received high evaluations in areas such as personal information and information security, human resource development, and environmental data disclosure. The company also improved its scores in areas such as climate change response and materiality assessment.
