South Korea's LG Electronics Inc. announced on Friday its successful delivery of a massive billboard to Lima, the capital city of Peru. The LED display measures 120 square meters and is equipped with 140 panels. As bright as up to 5,000 nits, it ensures exceptional visibility, even when used outdoors.
In a notable move, LG Electronics took direct involvement in the design, construction and supply process of the billboard, enhancing installation quality.
By minimizing the gaps between the panels, the company achieved the implementation of three-dimensional anamorphic content, which realistically captures the attention of citizens.
This latest endeavor adds to LG Electronics' expanding business of providing commercial displays to numerous countries worldwide. Most recently, the company installed 50 billboards across various spaces at the startup hub, "True Digital Park," in Bangkok, Thailand.
These billboards, including ones capable of being installed on curved surfaces, were placed on the lobby's ceiling and pillars, showcasing a variety of captivating content and offering visitors a unique experience.
LG Electronics continues to deliver differentiated customer experiences through its wide range of billboard solutions.
These solutions encompass LED billboards for virtual production and cinema, transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) billboards ideal for interactive environments such as hotel check-in counters and store consultation booths, as well as electronic blackboards that provide convenient touch capabilities and an intuitive writing experience in educational institutions and meeting rooms.
