South Korea’s Hanwha Techwin on Wednesday changed its name to Hanwha Vision and unveiled its new corporate image.
On the reason for the name change, the company said, “It expresses our intent to lead global market innovation by leading next-generation vision solutions in going beyond video security.”
“With our company’s name change, we will expand from monitoring security and follow-up analysis to provision of customized information and solutions through big data analysis and devise a business strategy for prevention and real-time response,” said company CEO Ahn Soon-hong.
For its overseas subsidiaries, Hanwha Vision will change its corporate name and product brand according to each country's conditions.
