Kyochon F&B, the company operating Kyochon Chicken, said on Friday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding for a master franchise agreement with La Kaffa International Group, a Taiwanese food service company, to enter the market there.
La Kaffa International Group is one of Taiwan's top-three food and beverage conglomerate.
Starting with this agreement, Kyochon plans to introduce the taste of "K-chicken" to Taiwanese consumers.
In addition, it plans to work with the group in the distribution of sauces, convenience meals, and craft beer.
"It is the first step to promote K-chicken in Taiwan, the country of gastronomy," said Kwon Won-gang, chairman of Kyochon F&B.
