[Speakers' Biography]
Mr. Derman is a Partner and Co-Head of Ares Infrastructure and Power and a member of both the Management Committee of Ares Management and the Ares Infrastructure and Power Investment Committee. He oversees strategy, origination, capital deployment and portfolio management of equity and debt investments in the infrastructure industry. In 2015, Mr. Derman joined Ares Management through the firm's acquisition of Energy Investors Funds, where he was a Partner. Previously, he was a Manager of Corporate Development at PSEG Power. Mr. Derman received a B.A. (cum laude) from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
