Hyundai Motor Group's open innovation platform Zero1ne will showcase innovative technologies from ten South Korean startups at CES 2023, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT trade show, the company said on Wednesday.
Since its foundation in 2018 by the South Korean conglomerate to create an ecosystem for creative talents, Zero1ne has discovered and invested in promising startups and fostered in-house startups.
It is verifying and developing the strategic use of innovative technologies through the Zero1ne Accelerator program, which discovers and invests in startups with excellent capabilities. It has made equity investments in 72 out of 140 program participants.
Zero1ne, participating at CES for the first time, will introduce ten startups: 60Hertz, eMotiv, ArgosVision, CellPlus Korea, XYZ, Wondermove, Fittrix, Difon, VODA, and AutoL.
In response to the climate crisis, 60Hertz is developing and providing information technology services necessary for using and managing distributed energy sources such as solar photovoltaic units, wind generating units, energy storage systems (ESS), and fuel cells.
eMotiv is developing a digital cure for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) using mobile games and artificial intelligence programs.
ArgosVision has created an ultra-wide 3D-depth camera called ArgosVue, which offers the most expansive field of view comparable to human levels.
"Zero1ne has focused on developing and nurturing promising startups. CES will give them great opportunities to expand into overseas markets," said a Zero1ne official.
