Cookie Run: Kingdom to launch in China on Dec 28

South Korean game developer DevSisters Corp. announced on Friday that its globally popular mobile game “Cookie Run: Kingdom” will officially launch in China on Dec. 28.

The company unveiled the launch schedule and the future operating plans of Cookie Run: Kingdom on the game’s official Chinese website and social media channels.

Cookie Run: Kingdom plans to offer Chinese-style story content that Chinese users will like. DevSisters collaborated with Want Want China Holdings, the largest snack and dairy brand in China, to develop characters and customization items for the game.

In preparation for the launch, DevSisters conducted a final user test in China from Dec. 4. to evaluate the game's overall completeness and technical stability.

DevSisters reported that Cookie Run: Kingdom topped the Android and iOS pre-registration charts on TapTap, a major app market platform in China, on the first day of the test.

DevSisters will jointly publish this game with Chinese firms Changyou and Tencent Games.
