LG Electronics Inc. announced on Tuesday that it had signed a business agreement with Bayada Home Healthcare, a US-based company specializing in home care and nursing, to develop a business in the field of home care using LG MediPain, the former company's chronic pain relief medical device.

The two companies will collaborate on joint business development and device sales using LG MediPain in various programs such as home healthcare and home care services.

LG MediPain is a certified medical device that provides non-invasive chronic pain relief for various body parts.

Furthermore, LG Electronics and Bayada are considering ways to expand the sales of LG's personal medical devices, such as LG MediPain and LG Pra.L Medi Hair, a hair loss treatment device, in the U.S. market, where home and telehealth services are popular.

"We are committed to improving the accessibility and satisfaction of medical devices for customers who have difficulty treating chronic pain due to physical and economic reasons," said Nam Hye-sung, executive director of Home Beauty Business at LG Electronics' HE Business Division.
