LG Electronics showcases new products in Dubai

LG Electronics Inc. held a two-day event in Dubai to unveil its latest products and solutions for the Middle East and African markets.

The South Korean company said on Wednesday that about 400 people from 76 countries attended the "LG Showcase" event, which started on Tuesday. It was LG’s first new product launch event in the region since 2019.

LG displayed its second-generation LG Signature ultra-premium products, including a mood-up refrigerator that changes color according to user preferences, a one-body washer-dryer wash tower that saves space and energy, and a frame-type air conditioner art cool gallery that blends into the wall.

The company also introduced its new TV lineups, such as LG Signature OLED M, which features an ultra-thin screen and a magnetic stand; the 2023 LG OLED Evo, which offers improved brightness and contrast; LG OLED Objet Collection, which combines design and technology; and wireless portable LG Standby Me, which can be moved around easily.

In addition, LG presented a digital logo play using its brand symbol mark "Face of Future," which adds graphic elements and motions such as smile, wink and greeting to its existing logo.

LG said its sales in the Middle East and Africa grew by double digits last year. The company attributed its growth to strong demand for home and system air conditioners and commercial displays.
