Paldo completes second factory in Vietnam

South Korea’s food and beverage company Paldo announced on Tuesday that it completed the construction of its second factory in Vietnam.

Paldo decided to establish the second factory to secure capacity in response to increasing local demand in Vietnam and plans to continue expanding the facilities of both factories and utilize them as production and export hubs.

The new plant is located in Tay Ninh Province in southern Vietnam. The land area is 33,920 square meters, and the floor is 12,506 square meters.

By establishing the second factory in the south following the first one in Phu Tho Province in northeastern Vietnam, Paldo has built a production belt connecting the north and south of Vietnam.

Paldo has applied domestic production quality standards to both the first and second factories in Vietnam to produce items of the same quality as those for domestic consumption.

The second factory can produce 100 million packs of instant noodles, including cooked and instant noodles, and 150 million beverage products annually.

When the noodle production line is expanded next year, the annual production of noodles at this factory will increase to over 400 million packs.

Combining the production capacity of the existing first factory, Paldo will be able to produce 700 million packs of noodles annually in Vietnam alone.

Paldo exports products manufactured in Vietnam to 10 countries including the US, Japan, and Australia.

Last year, it opened a local office in Cambodia to support export operations in Southeast Asia.
