HYBE ranks fifth in global tour revenue in 2023

With a total revenue of $188 mn according to Billboard statistics, it is the only S.Korean company to enter the top 10 promoters

The global tour revenue of HYBE Co., home to BTS and Seventeen, reached 250 billion won ($190 million) over the year.

According to Hybe on Tuesday, the US Billboard recently released its year-end statistics, aggregating the worldwide tours from Nov. 1 last year to Sept. 30 of this year in its The Year In Touring 2023 report.

Among them, Hybe recorded a total global tour revenue of $188.1 million, placing it fifth on the Billboard Top Promoters chart based on this figure. Hybe is the only domestic company to enter the top 10 of this chart this year. Artists under Hybe held a total of 93 concerts worldwide, attracting an audience of 1.6 million people over the past year.

In the "Top Tours" ranking based on revenue, BTS's Suga ranked 37th, Tomorrow X Together 54th, and Seventeen 58th. Suga's tour revenue was $57.1 million.

In the Top K-pop Tours ranking, Suga ranked 2nd, and a total of five Hybe artists entered the top 10. Additionally, the achievements of Hybe artists were notable in various year-end charts from major international media outlets.

NewJeans' "Get up," BTS Jungkook's "Golden," Le Sserafim's "Unforgiven" and others were included in the New York Times' "Best Albums of 2023."

NewJeans' "Super Shy" was selected for the Guardian's "20 best songs of 2023," and "OMG" was chosen for AP News' "Best Songs."

Hybe artists also made a strong presence in streaming and short-form platforms. Jungkook's "Seven" was ranked as the fourth most-streamed song on Spotify globally this year.

In the TikTok "2023 Most-viewed Artists" list, BTS (4th place), Enhypen (6th place), Le Sserafim (8th place), NewJeans (9th place) and others entered the top 10.
