Blackpink YouTube exceeds 90 mn subscribers

K-pop girl group Blackpink's official YouTube channel subscribers surpassed 90 million on July 17 at 5:36 a.m., according to YG Entertainment Inc.

This achievement was accomplished within 7 years and 1 month since the channel's inception.

In July 2020, Blackpink became the first non-English artist to enter the top-5 most subscribed YouTube channels worldwide.

Subsequently, they surpassed famous pop stars such as Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, and in September 2021, Blackpink became the artist with the most subscribers worldwide.

September last year, Blackpink set a new record by surpassing 80 million YouTube subscribers, and within less than a year, they gained an additional 10 million subscribers.

The cumulative views on Blackpink's official YouTube channel have exceeded 32.2 billion. They have a total of 43 videos with over 100 million views each, including "Ddu du Ddu du," "Kill This Love" and "Boombayah."

While conducting their world tour concert "Born Pink," Blackpink will meet their audience in various US locations next month, including New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
