Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Tuesday that its TV The Frame was selected as the first official display for the world's largest art fair Art Basel 2024.
The fair, will be from June 13 to 16 (local time) in Basel, Switzerland, will host 285 galleries from 40 countries showcasing a wide range of artworks across various genres and forms.
Samsung Electronics will open the Samsung The Frame Lounge at the Art Basel exhibition hall, presenting a variety of artworks on 4K screens under the theme A New Way of Exploring Art.
Live discussions will also be held with curators from the Samsung Art Store and key figures from Art Basel, sharing the significance of the collaboration between Art Basel and The Frame.
The Frame can display art or photos on its screen and can be customized with a separately sold frame bezel, allowing it to function as a picture frame when not in use as a TV.
