Samsung's Galaxy S23 obtains Most Satisfied Customers award 

Galaxy S23, the latest mobile handset of South Korea's electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co., received the Canstar Blue 2023 Most Satisfied Customers award in the smartphones category just over a week away from its launch, the company said on Monday.

This follows its achievements in TV and Home Theater Systems categories for the second consecutive year.

Canstar Blue, a leading Australian consumer satisfaction survey company, announced the results based on feedback from over 1,300 users where it beats out Apple, Oppo, and Google with five-star ratings across all seven categories including user-friendliness, design, durability, value for money, camera quality, and battery and charging performance.

The five-star rating is equivalent to a perfect score and Samsung is the only smartphone brand to take a five-star customer rating in all seven categories.

“While some competitors focus only on high-end handsets, Samsung’s wide range of Galaxy smartphones cater to high-end, mid-range, and lower-budget phone users, without sacrificing quality features and specifications,” said Tara Donnelly, Canstar Blue’s Utilities Editor.

Apple, the previous winner in this category in 2021 and 2022, gave way to Samsung, with five stars only in two categories--user conveniences and design. It garnered a poor rating of three stars in the battery category.

Chinese manufacturer Oppo ranked third, while Google Smartphone ranked fourth.
