CORDET is an alternative credit specialist focused on direct lending to smaller mid-market companies across Northern Europe. We seek to lend €5-30m per investment to borrowers that generate €2-15m in EBITDA, typically as the only or controlling term debt provider. Founded in 2013, CORDET is independent and partner owned with 17 professionals across offices in London, Stockholm and Luxembourg. As an all-weather investor focused on key sectors: business services, healthcare, financials, industrials and consumer. Our first fund is currently tracking average 12.9% Gross IRR.

Christian Ovesen focuses on origination and execution across the Nordics and German-speaking Europe. Prior to joining CORDET in 2013, Christian was part of Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsor Group working on origination, structuring and execution of financings for LBOs and other private equity related transactions. Before that, he worked at StormHarbour and Dresdner Kleinwort in leveraged finance. Earlier in his career, Christian served in the Royal Danish Armed Forces (Navy). Christian holds a MA (Honours) from the University of St Andrews and an MBA from INSEAD. He speaks Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German and French.
