Hankook Tire & Technology, a tire manufacturer based in South Korea, announced on Wednesday its exclusive partnership with BMW Driving Center's test vehicles for the ninth consecutive year.
Since its inauguration in 2014, Hankook Tire has been the supplier of tires for all test vehicles used in the driving and track programs of the BMW Driving Center. The partnership has also extended to new car tires, including the premium compact car brand MINI since 2011 and the flagship model New 7 Series.
Last year, the company diversified its portfolio by introducing tires for BMW's first all-electric Gran Coupe i4, aligning with BMW's electrification program.
Hankook Tire's partnership with BMW is not limited to supplying high-performance tires but extends to brand promotion. Two brand videos, "iON with BMW i7" and "Ventus with BMW M," showcasing BMW's high-performance vehicles equipped with Hankook tires were released online.
Hankook Tire aims to provide customers with the opportunity to experience its high-performance tire technology in extreme driving conditions, based on the accumulated experience through supplying new car tires, said a Hankook Tire official.
