Lotte Duty Free unveils robot bartender in Gimpo Int'l Airport

South Korea's Lotte Duty Free said on Thursday it placed its AI-based robot bartenders in Gimpo International Airport.

Lotte Duty Free offers robot bartender liquor tasting vouchers to customers who purchase Hennessy, Glenfiddich, or others. 

Customers can choose drinks to sample or get recommendations from a robot bartender.

The robot bartender takes a picture of the customers' faces and analyzes their emotions using AI to serve drinks.

It's available in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese.

The company cooperated to build a robot bartender store with Doosan Robotics Inc..

Lotte Duty Free opened a robot bartender store at Singapore's Changi Airport in 2023.
