South Korea's Line Games Corp. announced on Friday that it signed a publishing agreement with Vietnam's tech giant VNG for the mobile game The Play of Genesis Mobile: Asura Project, which will be released in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
Under this agreement, The Play of Genesis Mobile will be officially launched in Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong in the first quarter of next year.
Founded in 2004, VNG has grown into the largest tech company in Vietnam and is rapidly expanding its business into Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
VNG has extensive experience publishing popular global games such as PUBG Mobile and League of Legends.
The Play of Genesis Mobile, released in South Korea on January 9, is a mobile simulation role-playing game (SRPG) based on the popular 1990s games The Play of Genesis and The Play of Genesis 2.
The game has been consistently popular since its release, thanks to its deep storyline, diverse content, and character design rendered in cartoon graphics.
Line Games plans to strengthen its collaboration with VNG in the remaining period to ensure a successful global market debut while continuing to solidify the domestic service of The Play of Genesis Mobile through regular content updates and various events.
