Available in Original and Carbo (carbonara) flavors, these products are the latest addition to its American portfolio, following the successful rollout of Buldak Ramen last year.
The company attributes its decision to expand in the US market to growing interest in Korean street foods, such as gimbap and Topokki.
Buldak Topokki was launched in South Korea in 2018. It was sold in more than 60 countries.
Its spicy, savory sauce, derived from the signature Buldak flavor, has played a key role in driving its international appeal.
The product’s microwaveable, shelf-stable format makes it easy to prepare, catering to overseas consumers unfamiliar with traditional Korean cooking methods.
Samyang Foods plans to expand its distribution channels in the US.
