Netmarble Corp. announced on Friday that it has become the first company in the Korean game industry to obtain the ISO 45001 certification for its safety and health management system.
ISO 45001 is an international standard for safety and health management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is awarded to companies that have a systematic management system to create a safe working environment, including effective prevention of occupational accidents.
Netmarble obtained this certification by reviewing the safety and health management system of its online and mobile game development and publishing services based on ISO standards.
Netmarble previously obtained the same certification for its new building in Seoul, G Tower, in April 2022.
“With this additional certification, we will take the lead in creating a safe working environment in the domestic game industry,” said a Netmarble official.
