Hyundai Motor Co. 's premium brand Genesis announced on Friday that it partnered with the Tate Modern Art Museum in London and will sponsor "The Genesis Exhibition: Do Ho Suh: Walk the House," an exhibition set to open in May next year.
The exhibition, a solo showcase of artist Do Ho Suh, will run at Tate Modern from May 1 to Oct. 19. Through large-scale installations, sculptures, videos, and drawings, the exhibit aims to explore the relationships between architecture, space, body, and memory, and to question concepts of dwelling and movement.
Genesis explained that this exhibition is designed in a survey format, providing an in-depth exploration of Suh's artistic world.
Do Ho Suh, who has been active in Seoul, New York, and London for over 30 years, will also debut his new work, Site-specific, at the exhibition. "Site-specific" refers to artworks that are intentionally placed to harmonize with a specific location.

Meanwhile, before Genesis, Hyundai Motor has also maintained a long-term partnership with Tate Modern, supporting exhibitions by prominent artists from South Korea and beyond.
“We are honored to embark on Genesis Art Initiatives in Europe through our expanded partnership with Tate, supporting the highly anticipated exhibition by Do Ho Suh,” Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun said.
“The Genesis Exhibition: Do Ho Suh: Walk the House takes us on an artistic journey, reaffirming timeless values that transcend both spatial and temporal boundaries through the voice of this renowned visionary.”
