South Korea's LG Uplus Corp. announced on Monday that it will unveil its new integrated account management solution for cloud services Alphakey at Quantum Korea 2024, an international event exploring global trends in quantum ecosystem innovations, from June 25 to 28.
This solution allows for granting access permissions, restrictions for former employees, two-factor authentication, and other account-related settings in one place, thereby preventing security incidents.
Alphakey enhances security against external attacks by applying post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
PQC is an encryption algorithm that is difficult to hack even with quantum computers, computation speeds far superior to supercomputers.
By integrating PQC with the standard two-factor authentication, Alphakey provides robust protection for accounts and internal information.
Unlike existing solutions that primarily integrate with foreign cloud services, Alphakey also supports domestic services.
This consideration for international and domestic IT environments allows for immediate action in case of any issues.
