South Korea’s content production startup Studio Meta-K announced on Wednesday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnamese visual effects (VFX) company Synapse Studio and domestic startup Oneness Korea to cooperate for virtual humans and generative AI (GenAI)-based content.
Synapse Studio is a leading company in the Vietnamese VFX market. It has a large number of technologies related to film, OTT, animation, and new media content production.
According to Studio Meta-K, Synapse Studio has contributed to the VFX production of over 60 South Korean movies, including "The Glory 2", "Black Knight", "Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area", "Noryang – Deadly Sea" and "Moving".
