Hancom, POSCO DX pursue robotic process automation solutions

South Korea’s office suite software maker Hancom and engineering and information and communications technology service provider POSCO DX will jointly develop robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.

Both sides on Tuesday formed a strategic partnership to expand their artificial intelligence (AI)-based software development kit (SDK) business.  The initial step is for Hancom to supply POSCO DX with an SDK product that modularizes e-document technology. 

They will also cooperate in the technological advancement of RPA solutions.

Hancom is expanding its ecosystem by modularizing its technology into SDKs and linking them to other services.  It also recently released office software using SDKs from the Taiwanese software-as-a-service company Kdan Mobile and Hancom Office. 

Last year, POSCO DX released Aworks 3.0, an RPA solution with higher user convenience.
