South Korea’s largest cloud computing service provider LG CNS Co. joined hands with US computer software company Adobe Inc. to improve its digital channel business by allowing clients to quickly analyze customer data.
The information technology service arm of South Korea’s fourth-largest conglomerate LG Group said on Thursday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Adobe Korea to innovate clients’ digital experiences.
“We aim to enhance customer value based on Adobe’s solutions,” LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun said.
With the deal, LG CNS is set to provide customers with personalized experiences through clients’ digital channels such as shopping platforms, social network services and websites, according to the company.
LG CNS plans to work on the digital channel business based on Adobe Experience Manager Sites, Adobe Experience Manager Assets and Adobe Commerce, becoming the first South Korean company that utilizes the US firm’s solutions for such a business.
Those Adobe solutions will be provided as software as a service (SaaS) – a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted, LG CNS said. Clients need to access the cloud and pay subscription fees during the period they are used.
