South Korean online shopping mall operator NS Shopping Co. announced on Friday it will support the overseas expansion of its partner, Taeyoung.
Taeyoung, a South Korean cosmetics company, showcased its products at the Korean content promotion center in Jakarta, Indonesia in May and participated in an export consultation. Based on this experience, Taeyoung is looking forward to an export contract worth $200,000 within this year.
To support this export deal, NS Shopping has signed a three-way agreement with Taeyoung and the Indonesian company PT Merdis International. As a result, Taeyoung will export its brand Elensila, which is widely known for snail cream, to Indonesia.
PT Merdis International will become the distributor for this product in Indonesia, while NS Shopping will act as an export intermediary. NS Shopping will support the development of new items and provide TV home shopping videos to assist with local sales.
