Lim Hyoung-seok, former Vice President of KKR Korea, left the private equity giant’s Seoul office and established his private equity fund (PEF) Neos Equity Partners, according to the PEF industry in South Korea on Friday.

In 2016, Lim was hired as a managing director of KKR Korea. For nine years, he led various investments in South Korea.

Lim has over 23 years of management consulting and operational experience, including 15 years at McKinsey and Co. in Seoul. He then served in various senior management roles at LG Electronics, including the chief operating officer of its European operations.
