Hanwha Systems to export K11's tactical control to Egypt

Hanwha Systems Co., a leading South Korean defense company, said on Monday it will export fire tactical control systems of K11 Fire Direction Center Vehicle and K9 advanced version K9A1 to Egypt.

The size of the two contracts is 30.5 billion won ($20.7 million) and 44.3 billion won, respectively.

The company plans to deliver initial batches in the first half of next year and continue the supply until December 2028.

According to Hanwha Systems, this is the first time a fire tactical control system developed by a South Korean defense company has been exported overseas.

Countries such as Poland and Norway, which have imported Fire Direction Center Vehicles, have been equipped with local systems from their manufacturers due to differences in operational concepts.
