South Korea’s leading soju maker HiteJinro Co. said on Friday that it's boosting soju marketing in the UK.
From August 16 to 25, HiteJinro operated a dedicated booth at the All Points East Festival in London’s Victoria Park, showcasing Chamisul soju and five varieties of fruit liqueur across 10 bars.
It's the third consecutive year HiteJinro has sponsored the event since 2022.
Since February, HiteJinro has been selling Chamisul soju and five fruit liqueurs at 29 Costco locations across the UK.
Since May, its products have been available at 91 Morrisons supermarket locations.
Starting last month, HiteJinro began offering its Jinro Green Grape and Jinro Peach at 502 Tesco stores, the largest distribution channel in the UK.
The volume of soju exported by HiteJinro to the UK has seen an average annual increase of 75% over the past three years.
Last year alone, the export volume of soju to the UK grew by 84% compared to the previous year.
