The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced on Monday that it will hold a VK Alliance Products and Services Special Exhibition for foreigners through the Visit Korea integrated platform until July 31.
In April, KTO selected 25 member companies for the VK Alliance to promote joint projects with related organizations to expand the number of inbound tourists.
12 member companies, including KT, the National Gugak Center, Ktown4u (which runs K-pop experience events and products), Cointravit (which operates global unmanned payment services), and Travel Makers (which operates a long-term stay platform), will participate in this special exhibition.
This special exhibition targets the younger generation and those interested in the Korean Wave, as the proportion of foreigners in their 10s to 30s visiting South Korea has been growing.
5,000 people will be offered discounts of up to 80% on tourism products and services that can be used during their visit to Korea, including accommodations, communications, transportation, makeup experiences, and K-pop dance classes.
