Lotte Global Logistics, Megvii to collaborate AI logistics

The company plans to obtain certification with a Chinese firm for smart logistics solutions and robot control AI projects

South Korea's Lotte Global Logistics announced on Thursday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Megvii Technology, a Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) logistics. 

Under the MOU, the two companies will collaborate on proof of concept for smart logistics solutions, AI projects for robot control, and advanced logistics technologies. 

Megvii is a Chinese smart logistics specialist that provides equipment for logistics center automation. It also offers the Matrix-8 integrated solution for transforming conventional logistics centers into intelligent automation centers.
