Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Thursday that it is expanding the translation and communication language support of Galaxy AI, first introduced in the Galaxy S24 series, from 13 to 16 languages.
Samsung Electronics will add support for three languages—Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian—to Galaxy AI through an update in April.
In addition, three dialects—Australian English, Cantonese, and Canadian French—will also be included in this update.
This update will enable nearly 1 billion more people worldwide to utilize the artificial intelligence communication features of Galaxy AI, such as "Real-time Translation" and "Chat Assistant."
The newly added languages can be downloaded from the Language Pack menu in the Settings tab.
Samsung Electronics plans to support more languages on Galaxy AI through additional updates within the year, including Swedish, Dutch, Romanian, and Turkish.
