South Korea’s casual multiplayer game developer Sandy Floor Games announced on Wednesday that it got a seed round investment from Kakao Ventures and Kona Venture Partners.
Sandy Floor is developing the casual shooting game Great Toy Showdown and plans to officially release it through various platforms including Steam by the end of this year.
Sandy Floor was awarded the Best Multiplayer Game at last year's G-STAR Indie Awards and was selected as an outstanding startup supported by Gyeonggi Content Agency for design and content convergence.
With this investment, Sandy Floor plans to finalize hiring in all areas including game planning, development, and art. It proceeds with the production of PC and console multiplayer games.
