South Korea’s Naver Corp. announced on Friday that its cloud computing unit Naver Cloud, Daekyo, and NSDevil will co-work to develop educational services based on their artificial intelligence (AI) large language model (LLM) HyperCLOVA X, using the WhaleSpace platform launched by Naver Cloud in 2021.
This collaboration is part of the agreement signed by the three companies in July last year for the "digital transformation of education services using AI and web platforms."
The three companies plan to introduce Korean and Spanish proficiency test learning services on Whalespace and support their use internationally.
To ensure a stable service, technical verification (proof of concept) will also be conducted at Daekyo's education centers in China, Vietnam, and other locations.
They aim to develop an academic diagnostic assessment service targeting upper-grade elementary school students.
Difinition, the educational technology joint venture between Daekyo and Megazone Cloud, will combine HyperCLOVA X with a processed learning dataset tailored to the standard curriculum to generate the largest AI-based assessment questions in the country.
NSDevil's AI test proctoring solution will be integrated into the assessment Whale browser on Whalespace to prevent misconduct at its source, ensuring the safe conduct of academic diagnostic assessments.
