South Korea's Asiana Airlines Inc. announced on Monday that it has partnered with Korea University Anam Hospital to promote medical tourism.
The agreement includes discounts of 5-15% on seasonal airfares for foreign tourists visiting Korea for medical treatment at Korea University Anam Hospital, including one additional free checked bag.
Korea University Anam Hospital will offer a special rate of 600,000 won on its basic medical check-up, originally priced at 756,000 won ($575.87), and a 20% discount on additional test fees.
The hospital will provide medical services in English, Russian, and Mongolian.
Asiana Airlines has been involved in medical tourism since the legalization of attracting foreign patients to Korea in 2009.
It has previously partnered with Hanyang University International Medical Center, Yonsei University Health System, and Soon Chun Hyang University Medical Center to promote medical tourism.
