South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. announced on Friday that it signed a contract with the domestic golf service platform Smartscore to supply its serving robot LG CLOi GuideBot to golf courses in Southeast Asia over the next two years.
The worth of this deal is 28 billion won ($21.3 million.) It’s the company’s single largest overseas supply deal.
The LG CLOi GuideBot allows for the easy golf course and hotel check-ins/checkouts, provides real-time scores for ongoing golf games, and offers sales of related products such as clothing and accessories while moving.
