The company released the 2024 security trend survey on Wednesday. It selected three solutions as the major trends in the South Korean security market this year: proactive incident and accident monitoring, widespread adoption of facial recognition technology, and the proliferation of cloud security solutions.
A survey conducted by S-1 among its clientele revealed a strong inclination towards the expansion of intelligent CCTV systems, with 70% of respondents favoring this approach as a means to prevent serious crimes.
Other measures, such as installing emergency bells (13%), increasing the number of personnel monitoring CCTV feeds (11%), and adding additional streetlights (5%), were also noted.
