Samsung to unveil AI-feature vacuum cleaner at CES

Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Thursday that it will unveil a new vacuum cleaner, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo, at the upcoming CES 2024.

This state-of-the-art vacuum and mop robot cleaner is designed to offer a more efficient and user-friendly cleaning experience, featuring advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and steam cleaning capabilities.

The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo stands out as an AI-enhanced vacuum and mop robot cleaner, building upon the technology initially seen in the Bespoke Jet Bot AI+.

The device's upgraded AI Object Recognition has been refined to recognize a broader range of objects, thanks to its integrated 3D sensor, allowing for more precise navigation.

A significant advancement in this model is its ability to recognize different spaces and stains, thus optimizing the cleaning process.

The robot can identify and categorize areas such as living rooms and kitchens and suggest creating “no-go zones” in places like bathrooms and entrances.

This feature ensures the vacuum avoids specific areas as needed.

Moreover, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo is equipped to detect and actively remove stains.

When it identifies a stain, the robot returns to its clean station to heat the mop pads with steam and water, then heads back to tackle the stain with its 170 RPM spinning mops, effectively scrubbing off even the toughest marks.

This feature minimizes the need for user intervention and enhances cleaning efficiency in various environments.

The device is also smart enough to recognize different floor types through its AI Floor Detect feature.

It automatically adjusts suction power based on whether it's cleaning hard floors or carpets, ensuring thorough dust removal.

It also avoids wetting carpets by lifting or detaching the mop pads at the clean station, thus preventing cross-contamination.
