The company will return to CES for the first time in five years.
Under the theme "All Set for Every Inspiration," Kia will unveil its future vision for sustainable transportation through purpose-built vehicles (PBVs) at CES 2024 in January.
Kia has focused on the PBV business and its strategies. The company will showcase PBVs and leverage electric vehicle platforms to offer customized, eco-friendly transportation solutions with diverse functionalities.
At CES 2024, Kia will redefine PBVs as "Platforms Beyond Vehicles," presenting them as total mobility solutions beyond traditional cars.
Kia aims to offer experiential value through PBVs, opening up new business models and lifestyle possibilities.
Kia will release a lineup of five PBV models including three medium, one large and one small concept.
The company will showcase technologies like Easy Swap and Dynamic Hybrid.
Easy Swap enables the transformation of vehicles such as taxis into dedicated delivery mobility solutions by changing life modules per usage.
Dynamic Hybrid allows for assembling variously sized vehicle bodies to facilitate low-volume production of a diverse range of models.
