SK C&C, a systems integration affiliate of South Korea’s SK Group, on Thursday said it will provide diagnostic services based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) to Doosan Enerbility Co.
Though a producer of gas turbines, hydrogen, offshore wind power and power generation equipment for small modular reactors, Doosan Enerbility is expanding to other sectors like green processes for lithium recovery and development of innovative materials.
The company’s use of digital technology in all processes at plant operations has boosted efficiency.
For Doosan Enerbility’s smart factory, SK C&C applies AI that detects abnormal signs in equipment under a method of capturing sudden vibration, heat and noise. Analysis of big data from similar cases is used to quickly find the cause, followed by the creation of a summary report on recommended responses and its submission by email.
