Doosan Robotics launches collaborative robot SW platform

Doosan Robotics Inc. announced on Tuesday that it launched the software platform for collaborative robots, Dart Suite.

Dart Suite enables the creation and sharing of collaborative robot applications. 

Mirroring the familiar user experience of smartphones, Dart Suite is designed to create a software-centric ecosystem. It ensures that both developers and users can interface with collaborative robots.

Central to the Dart Suite are five distinct services: the Dart IDE (Integrated Development Environment), Dart Store for application upload and download, Dart Platform for app operation, Dart Forum as a community nexus, and Dart Developer.

The Dart IDE, operating across various mobile devices, is a web-based toolkit for programming robot actions and functionalities. Notably, the software enables even novice developers to craft applications without coding, potentially slashing the development process by up to 80%.

Further enhancing its appeal, the Dart Suite offers expert developers tools such as component drag and drop and visual scripting. These functionalities promise the creation of high-efficiency robot applications, all of which can be swiftly uploaded to the Dart Store straight from the Dart IDE.
